Dear friends,

We’re delighted to announce that tickets are now live for our Spiritual Ecology Festival.

Starting on Friday 6th June 2025, we will begin our walk towards the festival with an Overnight Planting Pilgrimage, coming together in prayer to set our intention for the festival and create a ring of sacred trees around central London. Setting out from St Ethelburga's, we'll journey a 12-mile circle of the city, weaving together faith and ecological sites on a magical night walk. We'll be hosted by hidden community gardens and diverse places of worship, planting trees by moonlight and sharing food, song, music, prayer and ceremony.

The next weekend on Saturday 14th June, we’ll open St Ethelburga’s doors and welcome in our festivalgoers for a weekend of devotional music, workshops, talks, film screenings, prayer, contemplative practice, and much more. We’ll be joined by Tiokasin Ghosthorse, Sicelo Mbatha, Pooja Bhale, Nessie Reid, Alastair McIntosh, Ruth Valerio, and Kalyanee Mam, as well as Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee for a film screening and Q&A on Sunday evening, plus many more contributors, who will all come together to explore the interconnected challenges of climate crisis, polarisation, and our relationship with land.

This festival invites people across all faiths and none to gather on the common ground of our belonging to creation, and to face the challenges of our age from this place. Whether you’re new to the concept of spiritual ecology or you’ve encountered it before, whether you belong to a faith tradition or are an atheist, there will be something here for you.

For the first time ever, we are also offering an online ticket to the festival for our international friends who cannot be with us in person, as well as the option to attend all events, or just the Saturday or Sunday.

To find our more and get your ticket, visit the event page now - and whilst you’re there, please do take a look at our brand new website!

Warmest wishes,

The St Ethelburga’s team
