Spring is almost here, and as our winter tree-planting season draws to a close, we kick off a new season of conflict transformation trainings, workshops and music events at St Ethelburga’s.

Please join us on Feb 28th, in person, for our Conflict Coaching Training. If you’re experiencing conflict in your own work or life, or supporting others in conflict, this highly effective, practical course will give you the skills to bridge divides with expertise and insight.

If you’d like to take things deeper, there are still a few places for our popular Dialogue for Peaceful Change Training: a robust 4.5 day training opportunity in mediative facilitation and complex conflict transformation. Running from March 10th – 14th, participants on the course will then form an ongoing community of practice to learn how to confidently respond to and mediate conflict. We offer discounted places for those that need access to a lower price point. Contact rebecca.brierley@stethelburgas.org for more information.

We are now offering bespoke workshops for young people ages 12 – 25. In a world of growing conflict and crisis, these workshops offer young people space to talk openly about navigating this landscape and developing skills of peacemaking and reconciliation in their own lives. If you work with young people in a school, charity, university or international exchange programme, get in touch.

Or, if you’re part of a community that finds itself in tension or conflict, St Ethelburga’s facilitated listening process offers your faith community or organisational team the opportunity to explore tension and conflict, and to reach a place of mutual understanding and clarity on next steps. From one-off sessions, to a series of gatherings, our listening process can be tailor made to suit your needs and can take place in-person at your location, online or in our Bedouin Tent.

Join us on March 4th for a wonderful night with Serbian-born, London based singer and composer Jovana Bakovic at Listen to the World. Jovana presses against definitions of musical genre and tradition to create innovative and sometimes spontaneous compositions responding to the space in which she performs. Expect a musical journey that explores the sacred, womanhood, tradition and modernity.

And a reminder to save the date for our Spiritual Ecology festival - 13th - 15th June 2025. Tickets and programme details will be launched soon!
