understanding reconciliation
Our latest series of events exploring reconciliation aims to uncover new meanings of reconciliation thorugh opening up scripture, through contemplation, and through creative dialogue in which stories and expereinces can be shared and learned from. A mini-series looking at Communities as peacemakers will examine how people of faith act together as communities which have impact in the real world. In November we will hold a day conference - Bringing reconciliation home - that will explore what conflicts we face in London and the UK today and how insights gained from conflicts elsewhere can help us work with our conflicts constructively. We are particularly delighted to welcome the Grand Mufti of Syria and the Archbishop of Aleppo to share ideas about inter-religious co-existence in Syria with us. |
