St Ethelburga's

Centre for Reconciliation and Peace

to inspire and equip people to pursue reconciliation and peace-making in their own comunities and lives

public events

We run more than 200 public events a year, ranging from talks by leading international peace-makers, through skills training, to film and music performances.

We aim to make our events as participative as possible and the unusual character of the reconstructed church and The Tent create a unique atmosphere.

Full details of the autumn programme can be downloaded here.

money

Unless otherwise stated all events are free of charge. We invite all who attend to make a voluntary contribution towards the costs of the event according to their means.

Booking

Booking in advance is recommended for events which carry a set entrance charge, and is also advisable for other events.

The Tent holds a maximum of 35 people and events are sometimes full. If you tell us you're coming we'll keep you a place until the starting time. For very popular events, sadly sometimes we have to turn people away.
