Following on from the success of the first  'Good Party' night on Oct 26th, we're going to have another on Fri Nov 30th

With the same motive; to connect people in a genuine, enjoyable and chilled out manner, making sure everyone involved has a good time and we raise some money for St Ethelburga's Centre.

Live band this time are Penya with their Latin American flavour. We will then have DJs Jordan & Dom from Listening Ear playing through til 1am.

Formed by Colombian singer/songwriter Angelica Lopez in 2009, Penya sound like a fiery and beguiling mix of Cumbia, Charanga, Bolero, Reggae and Funk all bound together by Angelica's natural inclination toward story telling.

Hailing from the city of Cartagena on Colombia's Caribbean coast, Angelica grew up immersed in local folklore, dancing Cumbia and Mapale barefoot on the streets of her hometown.

A professional singer by 17, Angelica toured to London where she quickly put down roots, gradually forming Penya with like-minded friends she met whilst gigging on London's Latin scene.

Penya's songs, all originals composed by Angelica and band mate Jimmy le Messurier are a seed mix of styles that reflect her life experience. Check them out here:
