Conversion, Conversation & Co-existence: Living in a Multi-conviction Society

Thurs 23 Oct 6.30 – 8.30pm

Today’s media frequently focuses on confrontations between and within religiously grounded communities, or the increasingly shrill war of words characterised as “faith versus reason” and “secularism versus religion”. In this seminar/workshop, Simon Barrow, co-director of the think-tank Ekklesia, explores conversation as the basis for alternative approaches to the clash of convictions within public and interpersonal life. In association with Ekklesia.
